Deliverable Cross-Check Verification
Validating deliverable files against calculated site survey data within the automet® FAB integrity loop.

Integrity Loop and Cross-Check Purpose

The cross-check verification forms a critical component of the automet® FAB integrity loop. Executing this validation ensures any manual editing errors during deliverable creation are detected prior to fabrication release.

The process compares original site survey data directly against the finalized deliverable file. While structurally identical to a shop fabrication inspection, this step utilizes captured site survey dimensions to cross-check deliverable parameters.

  • Tolerance threshold: Deviation values must be virtually zero. Non-zero values indicate errors during deliverable data entry.
  • Survey file selection: Always execute the cross-check using the calculated version of the survey file, as it retains crucial physical metadata, including gasket/tape thickness and flange connection states (Bolted Up, Open Tie-In, etc.).
