Created page with "The name of the surveyor will be printed on the report(s). Once a name is entered into the system, it is saved and may be retrieved by clicking the down arrow to the right of the input field. To remove or edit the surveyor list, navigate to the Windows folder C:/SURVEY DATA and the file settings.json. Configuring Surveyor Names
Managing and editing the surveyor dropdown list for report generation in automet® FAB.
Overview
The name of the active surveyor prints directly on all generated reports. Once a surveyor name is entered into the system, it is automatically saved for future selection via the dropdown arrow beside the input field.
Editing or Removing Surveyor Names
To edit or delete entries from the surveyor dropdown list:
- Navigate to the system directory:
C:\SURVEY DATA - Open the
settings.jsonfile using a standard text editor (such as Notepad). - Modify or remove the required surveyor entries.
- Save and close the file.
