Configuring Surveyor Names

Managing and editing the surveyor dropdown list for report generation in automet® FAB.

Overview

The name of the active surveyor prints directly on all generated reports. Once a surveyor name is entered into the system, it is automatically saved for future selection via the dropdown arrow beside the input field.

Editing or Removing Surveyor Names

To edit or delete entries from the surveyor dropdown list:

1. Navigate to the system directory: C:\SURVEY DATA
2. Open the settings.json file using a standard text editor (such as Notepad).
3. Modify or remove the required surveyor entries.
4. Save and close the file.
