To select a design file for the survey, click the three-dots button (...) beside the design file input field.

Purpose of Design Files

Design files (.DES) are critical to the measurement workflow in automet® FAB:

• A survey cannot be conducted without an active design file.
• Design information is required by automet® FAB to enable fast and accurate data capture.
• Having design parameters loaded during operations supports real-time data integrity verification.
